Макосатин? Что это?

 

Мако - это особый вид длинноволокнистого хлопка, который классифицируется как элитный египетский хлопок. Наше постельное белье из Мако-сатина прослужит как минимум в полтора раза дольше обычного. И даже после многочисленных стирок он остается таким же гладким на ощупь без образования катышек. 300 стирок (около 5 лет использования) против обычных 100. Чувствуете разницу?

Ordering a Gown

Can I change custom dress parameters after it was submitted?


No, once we send the customer approved custom dress parameters no changes will be accepted.




Ok, I found a gown of the rack. What to expect?


Once you have found your gown of the rack, your consultant will take your measurements and fill the appropriate contracts.

There are 2 options when ordering a dress from the floor.

Option 1.

The dress is ordered to the closest corresponding size on the Poshfair size chart based on your measurements. With this option, it’s expected to have some alterations to perfect the fit, length and bustle on your gown once it arrives. And you pay for alterations.

Option 2.

The dress is ordered as a custom fit. With this option, we take the measurements and the dress is made according to the measurements. This option has 10% fee (from the dress cost) associated with it. In most of the cases, no alterations are required.

If the alterations are required, then Poshfair covers it if the customer size hasn’t changed. If the customer dimensions have changed since the dress was ordered, the customer pays for alterations.




Can I order a custom design for my gown?


Yes. If you don’t find a dress in our salon or any other stores, but you have a specific design in mind, you can order either a modified version of the existing dress from our collection or we can design a brand new gown and send it to be made in our workshop in Europe.

With custom design, the dress is made according to the measurements. The price for custom design is calculated based on the design complexity, fabrics to be used, and size.

The processing of custom dress takes 4-6 months.




How long does it take to order my gown?


Expect to purchase your dress at the first or second appointment.

Our production time differs from other stores. The average production time for our designer gowns is 3-4 months on average and this includes a time allotment for doing your alterations in store. This is because we work directly with our production team.

For wedding gowns made through a custom design, the processing time is 4-6 months.




What should I budget for a designer gown from Poshfair?


We recommend that you budget on average of $3000 for a designer gown. Our gowns start at $1,000 but the majority range from $1,000-$10,000.

We do have a line of dresses under $1000 though. They are made with the same quality fabrics but have simpler designs, and that helps to keep the price lower.




Do you run sample sales?


Yes, we do once in a while when we need to refresh a collection. We advertise sample sales on our website and social media in advance.




How do I pay for my gown?


Gowns require a 60% deposit at the time of purchase with the balance due when the gown arrives at the salon. As gowns are made to order, there are no refunds, credits or exchanges.

Sample gowns and accessories, including veils, must be paid in full at time of purchase.

Alteration costs are not included in the price of your gown, this fee is extra and varies dependent on your gown.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit and cash. We do not accept cheques.

Gown financing is available, please inquire for details.




What is the return policy on ordered dresses


All sales are final and cannot be cancelled after the point of purchase. Due to the special nature of our merchandise, we cannot accommodate exchanges or refunds under any circumstances. In addition, our vendors are unable to cancel or make any changes or modifications to any order once it has been placed. Please be sure of the style, size, color, and any other specifications before submitting your order.

Do I need an appointment to try on wedding gowns?


Yes, in order to provide all our brides with the best service, we encourage you to book an appointment.




How do I book an appointment?


There 3 ways to book an appointment.

Please book 2-3 weeks prior to your desired appointment date.




Do I need an appointment to look at wedding gowns?


You can visit our salon to browse through our collections, however, you we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to get a consultation from our employees if there are other groups of customers. Brides with booked appointments take precedence.




Do I need an appointment for occasion dresses, veils, jewelry?


Appointments are recommended for the above especially if you are coming on a weekend.




When to book an appointment?


We recommend booking 4-8 months prior to your wedding and no earlier than 12 months.




How long is my appointment?


Initial Consultation:

This consult is for brides getting married within a year. It is a 1.5 hour consultation. This allows for 15 minutes for your consultant to understand your wedding vision, gown preferences and experiences, just over an hour to try approximately 8 gowns and ending with time to purchase your Poshfair wedding dress.

Follow up Consultation:

A follow up 1 hour appointment is for brides to come in and have a second look at your favorite gowns and accessories and decide on your purchase!




How many guests may I bring?


From our experience, we found the support group for brides should be no more than 4 people.

Buying a gown is a very personal experience. The more guests you bring, the harder it is for you and your consultant to focus on your needs. It is very important to bring your one key decision maker to your appointment, whether it be your mother, father, sister, fiance or close friend. Once you have chosen your gown we are happy to make time for you to bring your friends and bridesmaids in to see you try the one!




How should I prepare and what should I bring to my appointment?


A strapless bra and a pair of Spanx (or similar) is always useful.

Having your hair nicely done prior to your appointment helps you envision the gown as you would see it on the day. If you plan on having an up-do, come with your hair up. We cannot stress how important looking good at your appointment is in your decision making process!

Since you’ll be wearing lots of white dresses, we recommend not to apply lipstick or blush prior the appointment to preserve the cleanliness of our gowns.

To preserve the cleanliness of our gown hems we are a no-shoe salon. We provide slippers for use but please feel free to bring your own indoor slippers or socks. Heels are provided for trying on with gowns.

We ask that all clients slip on a pair of Spanx (provided) for fittings for ease in trying on gowns. Gowns slide up and down better with a pair of Spanx and provides a smoother finish. The undergarments also help keep our gowns hygienic for your comfort.
